Signs of Life II
Well, I made it over to the building site this morning. I think I was expecting to see more there. For the moment there is a ladder in the main hall and a small amount of scaffolding setup by the entrance. At least it means that something is happening. I'm guessing that there'll be more going on in the coming weeks.
We are still hoping to have the building "closed" before the winter. Once the roof is on the first contractor can return and pour the concrete floors in the main hall and in the old building. Then we can have the doors and windows put in.
This post is called "Signs of Life II" because I just realised that I've already used this title for a post from March.
In other news: I'm going to be doing some work on the blogging engine underlying this site over the next few days (and weeks...) so a few bits may move around. Mainly going to be fixing up some bits and pieces that have been starting to annoy me. Nothing too serious though.
