Seasonal Pictures
When we arrived at church yesterday Alain was hard at work clearing snow off of the school playground where we all park. He'd cleared a space specially for our car! We'd had about 10cm of snow overnight but getting to Libramont wasn't too much trouble.
Before and after the service some of the kids, including mine, had a go at building an igloo. It ended up having four doors and a chimney. They were very pleased with it even though they couldn't all get in in one go.
After church we drove over to the building just because I wanted to take some photos in the snow. Naomi and the boys stayed in the car whilst I trudged through the snow... it was about a foot deep in places. Yes, I still think in feet and inches, at least as far as snow goes.
I thought that the path up to the back door deserved it's own picture. The snow was untouched by human feet, I didn't spoil it.
Some good news, at least for us, is that due to an error on a couple of bills we are owed 10,000 euros by one of the contractors. Olivier and François spent ages going through everything, consulted with the architect and found the mistake.
Also, thanks to the generosity of a some folk from Leeds and Woking we have received a number of financial gifts over the last few weeks. Thank you!
