Parlez-vous français?
Libramont is in the southern half of Belgium - the French speaking part. This means that all of the work that I'm involved with for our building project is done in French. Makes signing contracts a little nerve-wracking.
One of the members of the church building committee is running a blog in French detailing the progress of all the work being done.
The committee has four members - me, Guy, Keith and François. Guy is the one writing our French blog. He is also the spokesman for the committee. He does all of the announcements and reports at church about the project. Gives people a break from hearing my voice and English accent.
Keith is an Englishman and a great help with practical ideas and seeing the big picture. François is Belgian and has extensive knowledge of the building trade.
Overall a great committee that has worked hard over the last couple of years to get the project to where it is now.
