More progress

Entrance hall roof.jpgWe went over to have a quick look at the building after church yesterday. This time I had my camera with me. Not much has changed since my last visit but there the roof is now on over the entrance hall.

Roof with gapA quick trip upstairs revealed that the first half of the roof was finished, at least for the moment. The gap is for skylights that should be going in some time in the next couple of days. We've just got to check that the right ones are being put in - there was a choice between windows that you open manually or ones that could be controlled electrically. We went for the cheaper option.

Back of thebuildingI thought I'd wander round to the back of the building to see what it looked like from the outside with the windows in. This is the end of the new hall.

Looking towards the old buildingThis photo was taken looking along the side of the new hall into the old building.

A team has been at the building again today to do some more work. Particular thanks to François and Olivier who both took a day off work to be able to go to the site.
